Kemoi’s Story

Kemoi came to Mama Jean’s Home in April of 2016.  After his parents’ divorce, his mother remarried and her new husband didn’t want to live with the child of another man.  Consequently, Kemoi ran away to the streets. After three years on the streets he began attending a drop in centre.  The social workers made attempts to reconnect him with his family.  When they were unsuccessful in finding a safe home, they approached us to take him in.

Kemoi is doing well.  He enjoys going to school and likes to participate in Bible studies.  He gets along well with the other boys and is very loving.  Now he has food, and water, is getting an education, and has a safe place to live.  Even though he was living on the street for three years, we are grateful that he was not participating in the glue sniffing culture.  We look forward to seeing the plans that God has given to this sweet child.  Won’t you join us in giving him a chance at a better life?  Click the link below to see how you can help.
