Emmanuel’s Story

Emmanuel came to  Mama Jean’s in August of 2015.  Things were not going well at home, and so, he ran away to the streets.  He was living on the streets for three months before he arrived at the home.  We had gotten a report that a boy had been abused by a guard for one of the local businesses.  Manu came to stay at the home, wanting a safe place to live.

Emmanuel in doing well at Mama Jean’s.  He helps out a lot around the home.  He enjoys school, playing with the kids his age, and planting in the garden.  There is access to food, water, an education, and a safe place to live for him.  Manu is loving and helps take care of the smaller boys.  We look forward to seeing the plans that God has given to this young man.  Won’t you join us in giving him a chance at a better life?  Click the link below to see how you can help.
